Refund Policy

Your legal rights

Nothing in this policy limits or excludes your statutory rights.

If you are a consumer, UK law requires that services are carried out with reasonable care and skill. If we fail to meet this standard, you may be entitled to:

  • have the issue fixed within a reasonable time and at no extra cost, or

  • a price reduction (which may include a partial or full refund in some circumstances).

If you believe there is a problem with our service, please contact us at aa.websites.org@gmail.com and we will aim to resolve it promptly and fairly.

If you request that the service is fully completed within the 14-day cooling-off period and acknowledge this, your right to cancel may end once the service has been fully performed.

If you are a consumer and you purchase our services online, by phone, or away from our business premises, you generally have the right to cancel within 14 days of the contract being agreed.

14-day cooling-off period

Starting work during the 14-day cooling off period

If you ask us to start work within the 14-day cooling-off period and then cancel within that period, you may be required to pay for the work completed up to the point of cancellation. This amount will be proportionate to the work carried out.

completion during the cooling-off period

Maintenance plan

Rolling monthly service

Cancelling maintenance

Our maintenance service is billed at £50-£70 ( depending on what you want on your website ) per month on a rolling monthly basis.

You may cancel the Maintenance Plan at any time by email, with 14 days’ notice before your next billing date.

  • Your maintenance service will continue until the end of the current paid billing period.

  • We do not normally refund part-months once a billing period has begun, unless required by law or agreed otherwise in writing.

payment structure

When work is considered to have started

Work is considered to have started when we begin any of the following (whichever happens first):

  • project setup or configuration,

  • design, wireframing, or layout work,

  • building or editing website pages/templates,

  • content formatting or upload,

  • plugin/theme installation or configuration,

  • performance, security, or SEO setup,

  • domain, hosting, or email setup at your request.

If you ask us to purchase third-party services or products on your behalf (such as domains, hosting, premium plugins, themes, or email tools):

  • these costs are non-refundable once purchased, unless the third-party provider issues a refund;

  • we will be transparent about such costs in advance wherever possible.

Third-party costs

We may update this policy from time to time. The version published on our website at the time you place your order will apply, unless a change is required by law.  This policy is governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

Website design & build

Our website build service is charged as follows:

  • £250 deposit to secure your project and allow work to begin.

  • £250 balance due before the website goes live or is handed over.

  • £500 total upfront fee

All websites are bespoke and built specifically for each client.

  • If you cancel before any work has started, your £250 deposit will be refunded in full, minus any third-party costs you specifically asked us to purchase on your behalf.

  • Once work has started, the £250 deposit becomes non-refundable. This reflects time spent on planning, setup, design, and development, and is considered a reasonable and proportionate amount.

Deposit refunds

Cancellation after work has started (but before completion)

If you cancel after work has started:

  • the deposit remains non-refundable;

  • we will stop work on the project.

If you have paid more than the £250 deposit (for example, you paid the full £500 upfront), any amount paid above the deposit will be refunded unless additional work or third-party costs have already been incurred with your approval.

After delivery or launch

Once your website has been delivered and/or launched, the Website Build fee is non-refundable, except where you are legally entitled to a remedy (see Section 5).

Refund method

Any approved refunds will be made to the original payment method where possible, or by bank transfer if agreed, within a reasonable timeframe after confirmation.
